At J-D Ranch, our goal is to have your horse be safe, well fed, happy, healthy, and relaxed!
Our boarders’ horses are turned out daily(not together). We also keep a good eye on them for any changes – which will be immediately reported to you.
We also want our horses’ owners to feel safe, happy and relaxed too!
Located north of Phoenix, our ranch location offers you the best of both worlds.
Providing access to some of the most beautiful trails in all of the Valley. Or you can work your horse in our two round pens or large arena.

Temporary Boarding
Welcome Temporary Stop Overs and Winter Visitors!
One of the best ways we have found to make long lasting friends is to have them stay with us for a while.
If you are traveling through Arizona and need a place to rest overnight or for a few days, give us a call to see if we have room for your horse and your rig. Get out on the trail and enjoy some desert riding if you schedule allows.
We also have a couple of spots for friends and horses to stay for the winter months.
Riding directly from the property to the many trails in the area is one of the things we offer.
We are also located in close proximity to the grocery stores and the fun of the town of Cave Creek. With more than 30 restaurants, dozens of eclectic shops and art galleries, you’ll find plenty to do when you are not riding. What a perfect winter get-away!
Rates:
Our rates start at $400.00 per month.
This includes daily turnout for each horse.
Overnight stabling is $20 per horse.
All Inclusive Stay
We have been in business, enjoying the stay of our winter snow birds since the year 2000. With many great references including vet recommendations, we look forward to meeting you!
Snow Bird Rates:
- Starting at $750.00 per month.
- Ride right from the property in 3 directions.
- Cave Creek Park is one block away with miles of trail riding.
- A health certificate is required to stay at the Ranch.
- Overnight trailer hookups are an additional $30.00
