We welcome you to our horse boarding and beautiful riding facility in the Desert Hills and Cave Creek area! Conveniently located off Carefree Highway and 24th Street, we have access directly into the Cave Creek Park Reserve from the Ranch. With miles and miles of trails to explore, we are excited to meet you and await your arrival!

Horse Boarding

At JD Ranch – your horse is our best friend and will treated like royalty! We are very hands on with each horse. They are turned out daily and we only feed top of the line, quality hay. Our Ranch consists of a large arena with lights, two round pends, a wash rack and lots of loving helping hands!

Meet Lynda!

“I have been a lifelong horse and dog lover. I got my first horse, Jack, when my husband died and he taught me everything. Jack and I moved to JD Ranch in 2000 and I’m still here. He went to heaven peacefully in his sleep last year. He was 31 and we were still trail riding. The Ranch is named after my Godfather, Jack Dutton, who used to rent a trail horse for me at his cottage in Garson, Man. I was about four.

I am very grateful for the wonderful people who entrust the care of their horses to me. I also have winter stalls and hookups for the great group of snowbirds who spend their winters at the Ranch. You can ride right off the property to miles of trails including: Cave Creek Par, Sonoran Preserve and more. It will be wonderful to meet you. Please call with any questions. Thank you!”
